Rhode Island is full of FREE resources and the trick is to find them!
Here is a list of a few of my favorites that I discovered in my own business owning adventure that might be of good use to you as well:
Innovation Studios RI – This organization offers a FREE resource to small business: GROW is an accelerator program designed for small businesses that is offered several times a year. This virtual program teaches business owners how to generate new customers and increase sales through strategic assessment & evaluation, digital marketing, and technology. Learn more and apply here.
Center for Women & Enterprise RI – The Center for Women & Enterprise (CWE) is a non-profit economic empowerment organization whose mission is to strengthen communities and the economy by supporting women to launch and successfully sustain businesses. It offers an assortment of workshops, some of which are FREE. You can check out their events calendar here and learn more about how to access those sessions here.
Northern Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce – They offer quite a few FREE resources, even if you are not a member! This includes their Welcome Wednesday Coffee Hour in Providence and a page full of grant opportunities.
I also compile a list of FREE resources as I come across them ranging from fantastic podcasts and books, to virtual networking events, to different kinds of no cost / low cost apps that have helped me with the launch of my business. You can find that growing list right here.
